As the year winds down, the Fallout 76 team has deployed the final update of the year. The letter from the FO76 team goes on to give a preview of what players can expect going forward into 2019, most notably for the time after the start of the new year.

Players can look for the first big update in mid-January that will come with "many fixes, including fixes for the Lever-Action Rifle reload animation, some perk cards, and we're dealing some crowd control at the Whitespring by implementing a fix for the robots duplicating".

Also in 2019, players can expect to see more comprehensive patch notes that will include developer insights into why certain changes are being made.

Lastly, a new game mode in the works:

We’re also hard at work on a new mode where you can work together, or not, without PVP restrictions. We’re already having fun playing it at the office and we’re hopeful to roll it out to all of you sometime in the first quarter of the year.

Check out the full patch notes on the Fallout 76 site.
