Bethesda Announced Paid Subscription Service For Fallout 76 - MMORPG.com

Bethesda have announced a paid subscription service to Fallout 76 called Fallout 1st.

blog post outlines the reason for creating a subscription service which costs $12.99 per month or $99.99 per year,

“Ever since Fallout 76 launched, we have consistently worked to improve and evolve the experience based on your feedback. That’s why we’re excited to launch Fallout 1st, a premium membership that offers something players have been asking for since before launch: private worlds for you and select friends.”

The subscription also promises “exclusive items and membership bonuses,” and is available now.

Private worlds is a feature people have been clamoring for since launch, with Bethesda now implementing this feature. You and seven other friends can take part in a private world, with only the host required to be a Fallout 1st member.

You’ll also be able to create a squad outside your private world and then bring everyone into your private world. If the host leaves, the private world will remain active as long at least one member who remains is a Fallout 1st member.

Additional perks of a paid subscription includes:

  • Unlimited storage in a scrapbox
  • A placeable Survival Tent for fast travel, stash, sleeping bag,
  • 1650 Atoms per month
  • A Ranger armor outfit
  • Unique icons and emotes

Bethesda recently announced that their Wastelanders update which was announced at E3 and was set to introduce NPCs has now been delayed into 2020.
