Fallen Earth's Last Stand 10 Year Anniversary Kicks Off Today

By Joseph Bradford on September 27, 2019 | News | 0

Fallen Earth is coming to a close, but not before sending players who have enjoyed the MMO for the last 10 years off with a final hurrah. The Last Stand event starts today and runs until October 14th, after which the servers will be shut off.

After a slight delay, the team at Little Orbit penned an emotional blog post on their site announcing the event and thanking players who have made the Wastelands their home for the last decade.

These canyons have seen a lot of travelers. They are a fickle, tempestuous place to live. They are a warm companion as the sun sets on a placid hilltop. They are a cold heartless monolith as we pass beneath their shadow. They are a worst enemy tossing us in a raging storm that leaves us somewhere we didn't expect.

But still, you have called this place home.

You came together here to explore, gather, craft, fight, and carve out a small piece of civilization.

The party, which launches today, has one small hiccup - a giant mutant that threatens to ruin all the fun. Players can talk to the Party Committee in order to gather bait to "lure out this massive, mean mutant to get rid of it." So grab your moonshine and join the celebration, as after the event concludes on October 14th, the Fallen Earth story comes to a close as the servers will be shut down.

Check out the full blog post for details, including the Quest giver NPC location to get started. Happy partying, Wastelander.
