August State of the Game Letter

In the August edition of the Fallen Earth State of the Game letter, producer Dave "Archangel" Haydysch begins by talking about the changes brought in the 1.6 patch. He then continues with a listing of the items that will be receiving attention in the patches set to roll out this fall.


Patch v1.6.2 Deploys

The v1.6.2 patch for Fallen Earth is scheduled to deploy today, Wednesday, August 25th. The patch is set to bring several combat improvements, UI updates and other features into the game and can be downloaded by simply starting the FE client.


Meet Tricia 'PixiStix' Jenkins

The latest in a series of Meet the Team interviews with Fallen Earth devs has debuted on the official site. This time, Media Specialist Tricia 'PixiStix' Jenkins, goes under the spotlight.


Veterans Reward Program Announced

The Fallen Earth team has announced that it is working on an ambitious plan to reward veteran players and longtime subscribers to the game. The first phase, set to launch soon, will award points to players for each month they have been active subscribers to Fallen Earth with additional points for consecutive months subscribed.


New Subscripton Discounts

Fallen Earth devs have announced a new pricing structure for subscription accounts. Pricing discounts will be offered with 3-, 6- and 12-month subscriptions. Players currently subscribing under the old price system will see discounts applied automatically when their subscription renews.

Advisory Set Near Quarantine

Patch v1.6 Goes Live

Fallen Earth devs have announced that all maintenance is complete and that servers are back online with the new v1.6 patch. The patch introduces dye kits, respec injectors and PvP flagging. In addition, the beginning level curve (1-12) has been reworked and includes an extended tutorial.

Former Wastelanders Invited Back

Fight the Fungi Event

The Fallen Earth team has revealed its next live event scheduled for Thursday, July 15, 2010. Called the Linewood Massacre Event, players will be murdering monsters and fighting fungi.
