The Exile Online Facebook page has been updated with a notice of a new series of "GoFundMe" crowd sourcing initiatives. As certain development milestones are reached, new funding programs will be opened to fund the next stage. This is in lieu of attempting a one lump sum funding program.
This way we can complete planned and announced milestones and prove to our pledges that their funding is being used wisely. The pledge levels will remain largely the same as before and we will increase the pledge levels at a later date to include the larger ones.
The Exile is a cyberpunk sci fi MMO that is inspired by IPs including Bladerunner, Judge Dredd, Deus Ex and others. It will feature both sandbox and theme park elements as well as player housing, 'intricate' economy, politics, high tech and more.
