Daybreak Games & the Comic-Con Museum to Host an EverQuest Interactive Art Exhibit

On the weekend of April 27-28, 2019, Daybreak Games and the Comic-Con Museum will be hosting "a special interactive art exhibit, "EverQuest 20: A Living Legend". Viewers of the exhibit will be able to enjoy artwork and other memorabilia from a number of artists that have worked on the game during its first two decades.


There May Yet Be Another Entry in the EverQuest Franchise According to Holly Longdale

Variety has a new interview with EverQuest's Holly Longdale that deals with the franchise as a whole, kind of a "history of" type of thing, but what piqued our interest is the bit about a possible new entry in the EverQuest franchise. "I would never say that there isn't a world where I wouldn't love to do another co-op or even a single-player experience that tells some of these amazing stories that we've fleshed out over 20 years, but the social dependency is who we are." she said.


EverQuest Players to Explore the New Gnome Memorial Mountain Zone Starting March 16th

On March 16th, EverQuest players will be able to take part in "Preserving the Past" content in honor of the game's 20th anniversary. During the special event, players will explore Gnome Memorial Mountain, a new zone "full of quests, collections and raids for players level 95+". The domed habitat has crested the top of the sea and, according to the blog, gnomes are hard at work ferrying everyone to this "new unexplored domain".


Two EverQuest Guilds Ramp Up Anniversary Fight with Ice-T Talkin' Smack

Faceless and Amtrak, rival EverQuest guilds, have 20th anniversary plans on one of the special TLP (time-locked progression) servers. The two will be duking it out head-to-head in an epic battle of dominance. Faceless, however, has ramped up the pre-game smack talk with a new video from none other than Ice-T. It's a profanity-laden bundle of bad-mouthing that is sure to raise the blood pressure of each and every Amtrak member on the planet. It's 20th Anniversary Gold!


Living the Legacy of EverQuest for Its 20th Anniversary

The EverQuest site has been updated with a new producer letter to kick off the game's 20th anniversary. "EQ's launch feels a world away now, lest we forget dial-up modems, Y2K panic, CRT monitors, 640jx480, open-book medding, corpse runs, lost corpses, ninja looting, guild drama, dawn of DKP and so many other moment." the blog reads.


The Burning Lands is EverQuest's 25th Expansion & It's Available Today

Today's another big day in the life of EverQuest as its twenty-fifth expansion launches. Called The Burning Lands, the expansion that comes with all the goodies players expect including a half dozen new zones to explore complete with raids, dungeons and quests. There are new spells, combat abilities and AAs as well as the new "luck" stat and new collections to amass.


EverQuest: The Burning Lands Now Up for Pre-Order Ahead of December 11th Release

The twenty-fifth expansion to EverQuest is now available for pre-order which also grants players instant access to the beta. Called The Burning Lands, the new expansion will be available on December 11th and will feature expanded lore, the new "luck" stat and six new expansion zones.

EverQuest to Expand for the 25th Time This December with The Burning Lands

EverQuest Producer Lauren "Mooncast" McLemore has announced the game's 25th expansion that will be ready to go in December. Called The Burning Lands, new content will include a trip to the elemental Planes where "air and fire will play a big role in [the] upcoming adventures". As a bit of a teaser, the post shows off an upcoming monster, something that looks suspiciously like a burning snail!


Daybreak Pulling Out the Stops This Friday for EQ's 19th Birthday

Daybreak will be pulling out all the stops in celebration of EverQuest's 19th birthday. On Friday, March 16th, players can log in to take part in special anniversary missions including "Lost but Not Forgotten", "A Formal Dinner Party", "Pieces is Pieces", and "Fish Eyes in the Dark". There is also a new mount available as well as content from anniversaries past, new Marketplace offerings, a special live stream planned for March 16th and more.


Ring of Scale Expansion Released

EverQuest has expanded for the 24th time with the arrival of Ring of Scale. The storyline started in Empires of Kunark is brought to a close in the new content that also sees a level cap increase to 110, six new zones to check out, nine new raids, tons of missions and quests, and the addition of new spells, combat abilities and alternate advancements.


Santug Claugg Returning for Frostfell Happiness

Not only has Frostfell descended in EverQuest II, but it's also present in EverQuest. The annual celebration will run from now through January 7th with players able to take part in a ton of winter revelry. As in years past, the Frostfell Goblin will the "Upgrading Stockings" that sends players off on a series of quests.


Ring of Scale Comes in as EQ's 24th Expansion

EverQuest is expanding for the -- get this -- twenty-fourth time with Ring of Scale. Players will return to Kunark and visit familiar places from the Empires of Kunark expansion that came out last year, though a host of new monsters will greet them. New gear, spells and AAs are included in the expansion content as well. The team has plans to reveal more about Ring of Scale in October and pre-orders will begin mid-month.
