Sony Online Entertainment has announced that the seventeenth EverQuest expansion, House of Thule, has been successfully launched on all servers. House of Thule brings on board several major changes including a level cap increase, eighteen raids, thirteen zones, seventeen missions, more than 120 quests and the addition of player housing.

The Everquest expansion, House of Thule, is set to be released on October 12th. In a new post at the official site, some details about pre-ordering House of Thule have emerged from producer Thom Terrazas. The post details the standard and collector's editions of the game.

In the latest Everquest producer's letter, Thom Terrazas goes into more details about the recently announced 17th expansion, House of Thule. The letter gives a few more details about the new features coming with HoT: Player housing, trophy system, a bigger inventory, a higher level cap, and spells.

Sony's inclusion of TCG's (Trading Card Games) in a number of their titles have drummed up a bit of controversy in their respective game communities, and EverQuest is no different.
