EverQuest players have a lot to look forward to with the arrival of the game's latest expansion, Rain of fear. We managed to catch up to Lead Designer Adam Bell to talk about RoF. See what he had to say and then join the conversation in the comments.

User generated content is finally making its was into EverQuest and EverQuest 2. Check out the news from SOE as Player Studio allows gamers to create their own content.

EverQuest players now have a terrific way to update and upgrade their characters' armor sets with the release of Hero's Forge. With the new feature, players can change the visual look of their armor as well as discover upgrades via achievements, missions, NPC drops, raids and raid bosses.

Sony Online Entertainment is reporting that unique log ins to EverQuest are up 150% since the game went free to play last month. Concurrent user counts are up 40% as are new registrations for the classic game.

In celebration of its 13th anniversary, Sony Online Entertainment and the EverQuest team have sent out a brand new trailer called "EverQuest: A Living Legend" that takes a look back at what the game has accomplished and meant over the years. Enjoy!
