Star Wars Outlaws is closing out the show, giving a glimpse of gameplay from the upcoming game from Massive Entertainment.

The gameplay itself is about 10 minutes long, giving a huge first look at the world Massive Entertainment is creating. Also, like Han, Kay shoots first. You can also use your pet Nix to fetch items, toggle switches and more for you, such as when he grabbed a rifle for Kay to fire from the hip John Wayne Style.

As the first open-world Star Wars game of its kind, the trailer also highlights this with a Speeder section, seeing Kay flee the scene in an iconic speeder. Jaunta's Hope is  the nearest settlement that sees Kay meet up with droid parter ND-5 to complete the job.

Check out the full gameplay trailer below.

Assassin's Creed Mirage got a gameplay walk through, meeting up with Basim right after his first kill. The "return to roots" gameplay is alive here, where Basim is more keen to get out of the area than fight waves and waves of enemies on his way back to the Assassin's Bureau.

The gameplay showcases Basim's parkour skills, slinging from one building to the next, throwing down scaffolding in order to block the guards hot in pursuit and more. It shows Basim blending in with citizens, using patches of flowers to slink about, use blowdarts to incapacitate enemies and more. It reminds me of the old-style stealth action that AC became known for from its very inception.

Assassin's Creed Mirage finally took center stage, showcasing the story of the upcoming title in the legendary franchise, coming October 12th. The origin story of Basim, who was a central character in the recent Assassin's Creed Valhalla, the upcoming title aims to bring the series back to its stealth action gameplay roots.

Assassin's Creed Codenamed Jade got a small glimpse at the Ubisoft showcase. This Assassin's Creed title is mobile, set in ancient China. Published by Level Infinite. Check out the trailer below.

Assassin's Creed in VR. Will be on the Meta Quest platform, but I wonder if you'll see a $3500 boost in performance if it releases on the Apple Vision Pro?

The footage being shown is pre-rendered CG, so not the actual gameplay, but like - who among us hasn't dreamed of a first person AC game?

The Crew Motorfest takes the Crew outside of just the US - bringing a unique playground for those motorheads who want experience the best in all styles of motor racing. From Japanese style drifting to F1-style racing, Motorfest aims to bring a huge new playground for petrol heads to enjoy. Coming September 14th with a beta in July.

So Skull and Bones made an appearance...sort of.

We got a small montage set to a live sea shanty where instead of actually showing the game and what was new, the team just threw up an end card announcing a closed beta for August 25th through the 28th. Also, ironic when Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemont used to decry PC gamers as pirates only to have a game with the tagline "Long Live Piracy."

Will this game ever release? It basically has to thanks to the Singaporean government, but when and how? We still don't konw.

The Sea Shanty was incredible, though.

In case you forgot, there is a new Division title on your phone (because we all have those, as Immortal proved). Coming Fall 2023.

Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix is many things. Violent, dystopian, dark comedy, satire, love story, and more.

Releasing worldwide later this year on Netflix. I'm also not sure I can match this guy's energy this morning. Gonna reach for the coffee during this trailer.

Joseph Bradford @ Jun 12, 2023 5:25 PM

We get some gameplay as well, narrated by the game developers to highlight exactly what you're seeing. The side-scrolling adventure is "semi-open world" that rewards skill, timing, and more that hearkens back to that classic Prince of Persia gameplay the series was famous for.

Joseph Bradford @ Jun 12, 2023 5:22 PM

I mean, it's the Prince of Persia. I used to play this title back when I was youngin, trying to master the side-scrolling puzzle platformer for years. While the series has gone full 3D in recent years, the new remake looks to take it back to its roots with incredible artwork and visual design, while still keeping with the 2D-sidescrolling the series got famous for.

Prince of Persia

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown comes out in January 2024.

One new map every month will be launching in year one, as well as a robust pre-season that includes al the content from the game thus far.

XDefiant showed off a montage of the closed beta test in April, announcing that 1.5 million players took part in the testing. XDefiant is planning on launching later this summer, though it will be hosting an Open Beta from June 21st through the 23rd to get feedback on netcode, controller tuning, and server stress tests.

A new deep-dive trailer is being show, giving a better understanding of the mechanics and world of Frontiers of Pandora, such as flying your own Ikran, exploration, and more. The first person action adventure game mixes exploration, combat and more. Use a mix of traditional Na'vi weapons or the weapons of the human faction that are invading Pandora.

I mean, this looks like Far Cry, but with Avatar. And I think that's okay.

Joseph Bradford @ Jun 12, 2023 5:09 PM

Avatar Frontiers of Pandora got an extended look at the upcoming game from Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment. The game shows some incredible looking first-person traversal, combat, taming mounts and just overall exploring the world of Avatar.  Coming December 7th.

Joseph Bradford @ Jun 12, 2023 5:02 PM

And Ubisoft opens its showcase with Just Dance 2024, reminding everyone that the dance game is now an official event in the new Esports category at the Olympics.

So that's cool I guess.
