Tennocon 2024 has begun! We'll be posting all the reveals as they happen from the main stage. Stay tuned for updates on Warframe, Soulframe, and what's to come.
Tennocon 2024 Keynote takeaways:
The Ember Heirloom collection has officially launched as of 11am est.
Warframe players who watch on Twitch for a minimum of 30 minutes, you'll be able to get the AX-52 rifle and Saryn Prime for free.
Dog Days will be returning July 22nd. New rewards include summer themed glyphs.
The Soulframe team takes the stage at 12:00 pm EST, with CEO - Steve Sinclair, Community Manager - Sarah Asselin, and Creative Director - Geoff Crookes, presenting alongside Audio Director - George, Scott - Lead Designer, Designer - Penny, Art Director - Rosa. They begin the presentation to a cheering crowd.
Soulframe is working towards a rejecting cynicism, and having a redemption arc for all characters Geoff and Steve explain.
Despite being named Soulframe, the game isn't a "souls game" ie soulslike.
Currently sending 2000 invites a week, and players should save their envoy name and provide their email so that they can be selected for preludes in the future.
Warframe 1999 gameplay begins. The crowd loves chanting, but the live gameplay had to be paused due to technical difficulties, and shifted to giveaways. The stream went forward, with a commercial of boy band on-lyne and their track party of a lifetime before Arthur sets the scene for the gameplay of 1999.
As he walks around the mall, you meet the other 5 of the Hex, and Ollie, voiced by James Conlin as part of Male A Wish.
The team shows off the romance system where you can select one of Hex members to romance later.
The hex then jets off on their atomicycles to defeat Dr Entrati.
The battle starts which ends in a large tank boss that goes through several stages of difficulty, starting with breaking its armor, then defeating incoming enemies and finally, dispatching the tank itself.
Next, they take you into the techrot of the world of 1999. There is a terminal that requires Arthur to play a game of snake, which he fails and a virus gets uploaded, and eventually grows 8nto a major problem (in the future)
Shortly after you reach a climax of Arthur finding himself face to face with the Excalibur Warframe where they face off in a battle.
Fast forward to the origin system, you are infected with a virus, that is affecting the system. You take to the railjack and make your way to a floating stage where you face off with a lich boy band of on-lyne.
All the 6 protoframes will have gemini skins that can be used as their main cosmetic on their corresponding warframe.

1999 is planned for winter 2024. Which ends the tenno live for 2024
President of Digital Extremes Sheldon Carter gives a recap of the past year, before introducing the panel of tenno live. Director of Design Pablo, Creative Director of Soulframe Geoff Crookes, community director Megan Everett, CEO Steve Sinclair, and creative director Rebecca Ford.
Megan talks about the charitable contributions DE has made over the past year with 100k given to Able Gamers and Sick Kids charities.
Megan reminded players about the free items mentioned at the Keynote. There was a laptop case for the gleam giveaway she couldn't open. Hilarity ensues. They handed out platinum to the fans as part of the giveaways.
The team then swapped back to Soulframe reminding players about the preludes and a recap of the earlier devstream and released information (also mentioned in this article), with a reminder to reserve your envoy name.

Tennocon 2025 will be July 18-19 2025.
Cross-save cross-platform trading is getting a more robust, and on the horizon.
The next update is a prologue quest called the lotus eaters in August that will set the stage for 1999. The update will come with 3 primes including sevagoth.
After August there is an unannounced update, that will be be announced in Tokyo game show. There will be a caliban rework and deluxe skins, and a free caliban warframe. Plus a lot of QOL l, including item favorites, frames weapons and cosmetics can be favorites now.
New incarnons are also on the way, 5 of them. Companions 2.0 part 2 will improve the abilities of pets and better balancing. The team also teased a new warframe with a unique new playstyle never seen before.
The team pivoted to 1999, with an animated short called The Line, debuting with 1999.
There will be a mall relay where you can explore with fellow tenno, that is available now. You can meet the hex and check out what's to come in 1999.
Voice actor James Conlin from make a wish makes his debut at tennolive as Ollie, as a video arcade character.
Matt Chalmers and the warframe band take the stage with a musical performance.
The live Soulframe play through starts with a cinematic, with the inclusion of character creation where the player chooses their features by remembering their mother.
The gameplay then jumps ahead into exploration and combat, where the character drops through to the night fold where you'll see the ancestors, craft, and build out your own space as you unlock more ancestors.
You'll be able to craft weapons, and change your cosmetics, as well as make changes to your skills while in the night fold. They then travel back to the main world to find the next ancestor headed to preludes soon. Players can find their way by summoning a bird to help them.
The player battles a mini boss named nimrod that uses the power of lightning and a long spear to attack at both close and long range. After the player dies, the bird returns their soul as kind of a corpse run to resurrect.
Musical puzzles are also shown and required to bypass some areas of gameplay especially for the new ancestor the witch Verminia.
Eventually Nimrod returns and the player defeats them with a mix of throwing their shield, using dodges and counterattacks, and a special bow attack.
Verminia brews potions and elixirs and allows for customization.
She also alludes to a new major enemy that will be headed to preludes soon. The next Dev stream is planned for September.
The prelude updates are on the way, fall 2024 is when all players will be able to get into preludes. Everyone who wants to play at that time, will be able to do so, but they want players to save their envoy name ahead of time.
Pc first but there are console plans as well, no word on Mac client.

The team states ancestors are a thematic progression system through characters that have become trapped in the world, with their own historical story significance. They have something that keeps them from moving on to the Rings of the Moon which represents heaven in the game. . Ancestors will unlock new systems in the game such as crafting.
Swapping idles and pacts (skill swaps) will let players find their role that they want to play. You don't have to give up everything you've worked for to try something new.
The number of animals around you on the starting login screen increases with consecutive logins. While there's nature, and peace to the game, and there's some sense of coziness, there are a lot of scary parts to the game.
The undercity will have puzzle solving and be the dungeon aspect of the game. The level system is procedural and it has a connection to the overworld. Players will progress through a dungeon and exit out into the world. You will end up in new areas of the world intended to aid in exploration.
