Naughty Dog took to the Summer Game Fest stage to announce a stand-alone, multiplayer title set in The Last of Us universe. The upcoming title will be revealed a bit more next year and will include all new stories, characters, will be as big as one of the single-player titles, as well as set in a new city.
Shared world co-op survival game, Nightingale, has released a new trailer, showing off gameplay as well as its upcoming Realm Cards feature.
Hoyoverse also revealed their first look at the alliterative Zenless Zone Zero, an upcoming action RPG.
Honkai Starrail, a new game built by the Genshin Impact team, was revealed today. The trailer showed off some incredibly visuals in the Genshin engine, although no release date was officially announced. Though you can register on their website to get a chance to win a PS5.

Digital Extremes took to the Summer Game Fest to talk Warframe. The team teased that the official gameplay reveal of The Duviri Paradox is coming at next month's TennoCon LIVE.
Midnight Suns, the upcoming RTS from the XCOM team, has been officially announced to release this October 7th. The turn-based tactical RPG also showed off a new hero coming to the game, Spider-Man, as well as another Fallen character, The Hulk.

Goat Simulator 3 is coming later this year to the Epic Games Store. The team at Coffee Stain North showed off a trailer, complete with electrifying goats and Wilhelm Screams.
Stormgate, a new RTS (it is 2022, right? Lots of RTS games!), is coming with a beta in 2023. The new RTS will be free-to-play, with the developer Frost Giant Studios (made up of ex-Blizzard devs) specifically stating on stage that the game won't be "pay to win" or include NFTs. The RTS will be built on Unreal Engine 5, launching with co-op campaign, in-client esports, and more.

Witchfire, the dark fantasy FPS just got some new gameplay, as well as a tease that Early Access is coming soon. Honestly, it looks like DOOM and Hexen had a grown-up, Unreal Engine baby with Destiny and I'm all here for that.
Troy Baker and Roger Clark are also teaming up to help bring a new sci-fi horror narrative game, Fort Solis.
The sequel to Flashback, Flashback 2 was announced, bringing the sequel 30 years after its last release on PC. Coming this Winter for console and PC.
We got to see both a snapshot into Activision's marketing budget, as well as a look at Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Activision is bringing the band back together with some familiar faces.
And for some reason, Activision painted them onto an oil rig.

Guile fans rejoice as Street Fighter 6 has confirmed the flattop-sporting, sonic-boom wielding Guile is coming back in the next installment.

A new Aliens game is in the works, coming in 2023., Aliens: Dark Descent will be a squad-based action title developed by Tindalos Interactive and published by Focus Entertainment.
