Live Blog: IGN Expo Summer of Gaming 2022
Action RPG Superfuse was announced to be hitting early access this fall. Players will be teaming up in groups of up to four players to fight waves of enemies. Check out the gameplay trailer below.
Ratten Reich - a World War II set RTS showed off some new gameplay. Ratten Reich tells the story of war, with players taking the role of rat troops to fight off the armies of the roaches, lizards, mice and more.
Starkeepers, a new MMORPG was announced to be coming to Steam early access in 2023. According to IGN Game Expo, the new MMORPG sees players take on the role of "anthropomorphic Viking animal-people, including wolves and seals" in order to ward off "cosmic threats."
Developed by Wolfpack Games, a team based in Beijing, Sydney and Rotterdam, the team brings MMO experience to the table, with employees who have worked on Warframe and even the now-canceled Lord of the Rings MMO.
Block N Load 2, a voxel shooter, was shown off today, giving a greater glimpse into the Team Fortress-esque gameplay. A closed beta is coming to Steam soon after the sequel to 2015's original was first announced last year.
Also, arena combat game HypeSquad got a new trailer, showing off its blend of hero, third-person multiplayer shooters. the new alpha hits Steam on June 13th.
SacriFire, an upcoming pixel art JRPG, was announced to be releasing on PC in 2023, with console releases coming later.
Developer Pixelated Milk's upcoming RPG aims to blend a high-quality pixel art and 3D animated graphics to give the JRPG a unique presentation. The 90s JRPG inspired title takes players to two worlds: Antioch - a subterranean city; as well as the paradise Erebus.

Project Warlock 2, an new shooter inspired by DOOM, is now available in Early Access on Steam and GOG. The pixel-shooter looks like an 16-bit DOOM with some really fantastic-looking animations. Also, being able to shoot fire out of your hands is pretty awesome, I guess.
IGN kicked off the show with co-op shooter Aliens: Fireteam Elite, announcing their upcoming content update. The Pathogen expansion brings new weapons, enemies and more on August 30th.
