Sit back, relax and follow along with us as we highlight the big announcements during Gamescom's Opening Night Live show, hosted by Geoff Keighley. We'll cover all the MMO, RPG and multiplayer news coming out of the 2-hour long gaming extravaganza.
The Game Awards will be back on December 12th, 2024, celebrating the award show's 10th anniversary.
And that's a wrap!
Mafia: The Old Country got a first look, set in 1900s Sicily. More details coming in December 2024.
Indiana Jones got a new gameplay trailer, narrated by Troy Baker, who plays the titular role. The globe-spanning adventure game showcased the varied gameplay features you'll encounter throughout your journey - from its first-person fisticuffs to Indy's iconic Whip. Coming December 9th, 2024, on Xbox, Game Pass, and PC and coming to PS5 in Spring 2025.
The First Berserker: Khazan got a new gameplay trailer and a release window, coming in 2025. A technical beta test is coming in October.
Diablo 4's upcoming expansion, Vessel of Hatred got a new animated trailer, highlighting the Pale Hand mercenary companions with the expansion.
Widowmaker is getting a Sylvanus skin in Overwatch 2, coming in September.
Blizzard is back at Gamescom for the first time since 2019, talking World of Warcraft's monumental year: its 30th anniversary year.
The War Within launches on August 26th, though early access kicks off in two days for players who plunked down the extra coin for the perk.
A new Warcraft Direct is also coming in the next few months to share more about what's to come in the Worldsoul Saga.
Arena Breakout: Infinite is now available in early access, and got a new trailer today. Will release fully later this year. We have impressions coming soonTM.
Unknown9: Awakening got a new gameplay trailer, with the upcoming action game releasing on October 11th, 2024.
Masters of Albion, Peter Molyneux's upcoming game, looks to blend DNA from many of his previous games like Black and White, Dungeon Keeper and more.
The gameplay preview looks like it's very, very much inspired by those with the disembodied hand plucking villagers up from the ground, creating buildings and building out the village. You can posses a character and play in third person as well, fending off the evil denizens of Albion.
It's an open-world God game, available to wishlist on Steam.
Hoyoverse gave a look at its upcoming Outer Ring update, while Honkai Star Rail announced a crossover with (in my personal opinion) the best anime ever: Fate: Stay Night Unlimited Blade Works.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 got a new gameplay look, showing off its incredible vistas, authentic-inspired swordplay, and some of its story. A larger, 20-minute gameplay reveal is coming tomorrow.
Secret Level - the upcoming gaming anthology series, got a reveal during Gamescom. We reported on this last week, with the report stating that Amazon's New World: Aeternum, as well as many PlayStation titles, will be featured in the upcoming series. Coming this December on Amazon Prime Video.
Marvel Rivals announced two new heroes coming to the hero shooter: Captain America and the Winter Soldier. Launching on December 6th, 2024 with all heroes unlocked and free to play from the get-go.
Starfield is bringing its Rev-8 vehicle to players tonight, while its Shattered Space DLC will release on September 30th.
Civilization 7 gameplay trailer shows off its incredibly gorgeous map, sprawling cities, wonders of the world, and much more. The long-running 4X strategy game is the latest in the series that spans all the way back to the early 1990s, and it'll be bringing its flavor of grand strategy to PC, Xbox and PlayStation on February 11th, 2025.

Naraka and Tomb Raider are doing a collab (and narrated by Master Chief?), bringing the Lara Croft to the high-octane, action battle royale on August 28th.
Monster Hunter Wilds got a new gameplay trailer, as the upcoming RPG from Capcom will be playable at Gamescom for the first time this year.
Genshin Impact is coming to Xbox later this year on November 20th.
Dune Awakening is coming Early 2025.
Dune: Awakening, the upcoming survival MMO from Funcom, finally got a gameplay reveal outside of hands-off previews. The reveal at Opening Night Live gave a glimpse of the character creator, as well as traversal across Arrakis.
The gameplay reveal also shows both melee and gunplay combat, as well as construction in the survival MMO. Honestly, this looks incredible, and we can't wait to get our hands on it ourselves.
Predecessor, a MOBA shooter built from the ashes of Epic Games' Paragon, got a trailer, as it enters its 1.0 update tonight.
Path of Exile 2 got a new trailer, with its Early Access finally getting a hard date. November 15th, 2024.
Lynked: Banner of the Spark was announced on stage, with its isometric co-op gameplay on full display. Early access is coming October 22nd.
We also got a look at Arc Raiders, the upcoming shooter from Embark, which has been lying under wraps for years since it was first announced at the Game Awards 2021. There will be a playtest sometime this fall.
Dragon Ball Sparking Zero got another trailer, showcasing the very, very large amount of characters that span Akira Toriyama's anime epic that make up its roster. Coming October 11th
King of Meat, Amazon Games and Glowmade's upcoming combat co-op slasher was announced, showing off its dark, witty humor mixed with a hack and slash combat spectacle, all in the name of rampant consumerism.
Techland is heading back to the Dyling Light universe with Dying Light: The Beast, an all new 20-hour adventure set in a new open-world zone.
Next up with a pretty cool trailer from Goat Simulator, but what really grabbed my attention is the fact that Atlus can't seem to keep the Phantom Theives locked away. Persona 5's protagonists seem to be invading Persona 3 Reload in its upcoming Aigis DLC.
Call of Duty Black Ops 6 is giving an extended look at its campaign gameplay, showing some stealth gameplay, quick time events, and more.
Kicking things off with Borderlands 4, coming in 2025.
