The Hunt Event Begins - Sends Players to Find Guristas Installations - MMORPG.com

EVE Online has been updated to bring a new event into the game called "The Hunt". During the event that runs from now through April 3rd, players are tasked with locating and wiping out Guristas installations to put "an end to their illegal cloning research". Players will collect derelict capsules to turn in for rewards and to collect agency points by finishing off challenges for rewards such as a new module, Boosters, a special event SKIN and more.

Other components of yesterday's update include:

  • Jump Fatigue Iteration - this includes a 95% reduction in the cap on fatigue accumulation
  • Jumping & Tethering Iteration - "tethering mechanics will make it a little riskier to travel from structure to structure via cynosural field".
  • Sovereignty Capture Shakeup - designed to "shake up the sovereignty combat metagame and give pilots new gameplay options to optimize and master".
  • Balance Iteration - tweaks to several hulls, increases in lock range and cargo capacity for battleships, tweaks to Battlecruisers and Heavy Assault Ships
  • The Monitor Ship in the new Flag Cruisers line
  • other feature enhancements and bug fixes

Check out the full details on the EVE Online site.
