EVE Online’s Abyssal Proving Grounds is set to receive an update as part of the Third Quadrant set to release sometime in July.
This feature will also introduce Proving Filaments. Essentially, you’ll be able to fly to pretty much any location in space, including an Abyssal Proving Ground within Abyssal Deadspace. You can grab these filaments in Abyssal Deadspace, in addition to any content related to the ongoing Triglavian Invasion.
Leaderboards will be available from which to measure your PvP performance against other Capsuleers. The filament you obtain will drive the PvP battle in which you engage. The ongoing Invasion will highlight the theme for these Abyssal Proving Grounds. This feature should be available in the Singularity test server soon.
