Entropia Universe is bringing the real world...which is bringing in a virtual world...er...Let's try again: Entropia Universe is bringing in a special quest to honor the release of Steven Spielberg's "Ready Player One". Players can take part in treasure hunts inside the game that features Eduardo Cinquanto, a "well-known NPC, who sends everyone out on an Easter Egg Hunt to find three Enigma Keys. The special event begins on March 29th.
Players will be working to find enough key fragments to complete a key that opens a portal where, as in the book / movie, a riddle must be solved to unlock it. Once done, return to the NPC to turn it in.
Of course, what Entropia Universe news would be complete without mention of the 50,000 grand prize that is the USD cash equivalent of $5,000. The grand prize winner will also receive Calypso virtual land deeds and other in-game goodies.
Obtaining all three keys will be no easy task, both for novice and adept players. There are challenging puzzles that accompany each key that will test players’ mental merit, and the keys must be found sequentially in three separate parts. The first stage of this epic mission will commence on March 29, 2018.
Along with the grand prize, there will be an Event Leaderboard to track participants’ progression throughout the hunt. The first six players to complete each stage will be awarded additional leaderboard points, and all players who complete the quests will receive Karona’s Velocity Jumpsuit. There are even more additional prizes that participating players can win.
