PVP, Cash-Shops, and Focus Fire -

During the recent PAX convention, Bill Murphy put on his RTS hat and sat down with End of Nations developers to talk about the game, cash shops, PvP and even a bit about crafting. Sister site, has Bill's full report that you will not want to miss!

I took control of the Liberation Front player (and was joined by several other members of the same faction) while we fought the Shadow Revolution. The story of End of Nations in a nutshell is that the world spiraled out of control after mass economic pitfalls, and collection of corporations and militarized nations known as “The Order of Nations” restored order to the world by force and iron will. As a player, you fight for the Shadow Revolution or the Liberation Front against the Order of Nations (NPC faction). So while you both have a common enemy you want to overthrow you each have your own goals for the new way of the world and what humanity should be doing to restore balance to society. It’s a pretty neat dynamic and the staff on-hand told me that while there are plans to add even more factions later, they feel the three-way with two player-controlled armies and one NPC faction works out really well.
