Studio Behind MMO Ember Sword Changes Name, Sees New Team Members

The team behind Ember Sword has changed the name of the studio, and have new team members to boot.

If you’re unfamiliar with Ember Sword, it’s described as a F2P cross-platform MMORPG where you can defeat monsters, bosses, and take part in PvP in classless combat. It’s set to feature mining, fishing, woodcutting, and other mechanics. If you’re interested, you can actually register here.

The studio is now called Bright Star Studios, who was joined by a new Senior Producer, Allan Kirkeby. Allan provided the following statement,

“I’m excited to join Bright Star to work on the ambitious Ember Sword project. Combining the classic and proven MMO formula while empowering players to own and trade in-game cosmetic collectibles will create entirely new item ecosystems and strong community structures that the gaming world has never seen.”

Other additions include Play Ventures and Galaxy Interactive who have joined the team with investment and manpower. Anton Backman is also joining the board of Bright Star Studios. If interested, take a look at some pre-alpha footage below:
