Kakao Games will be hosting a special streaming week starting this Sunday to mark Elyon's first day of head start and running through the official launch.
Elyon, the MMO formerly known as Ascent: Infinite Realm, released a new video showcasing one of the classes just added to the Korean MMORPG. The Slayer class, which wields a massive two-handed sword that would put Cloud's Buster Sword to shame, "sheds his own blood to bring down his enemies" according to Bluehole.
Elyon, the MMO formerly known as Ascent: Infinite Realm, has been largely dormant for the past few months. However, today, the MMO dropped a new trailer today on Twitter, showcasing some of the large scale battles you might experience in the upcoming MMO from KRAFTON.
Thanks to Bloodaxes, we've got a preview and impressions video from YouTuber "GRM Adrian" who is participating in the Ascent: Infinite Realm open beta in Thailand. While we have no news on this side of the world about when any type of A:IR beta testing will begin, it's a great look at how the game plays spread over 10+ minutes. Check it out and then leave us your thoughts in the comments here or in Bloodaxes' thread! Thanks for the cool find!
If Ascent: Infinite Realm is on your radar as a game that you're looking forward to playing, you'll be cheered to note that the first beta event is planned for Q1 2018. The team is working with Bluehole to "sync the information from the Korean CBT" to ensure the best possible experience for Western players. If you'd like a chance, however small it is, to be included in the first event, simply sign up for the newsletter.
Bluehole gave the go-ahead to a G-Star streamer to capture and publish some gameplay footage from Ascent: Infinite Realm, or A:IR. It shows a party of players aboard a ship, later taking to the skies for fierce PvP action, dropping bombs, ground battle and much more. It certainly looks like a game well underway development-wise.
