Elder Scrolls Online Greymoor Prologue Quest Now Available Free

Plus ESO Free Play Event

By Poorna Shankar on March 30, 2020 | News | 0

The Elder Scrolls Online’s Greymoor prologue is now available for free, accompanied by a sweet new trailer.

First, in case you missed it, be sure to read our Greymoor preview which went live earlier today. Regarding the prologue quest, it’s live as of 10a ET today. You’ll journey into the depths of Blackreach to confront the schemes of Skyrim’s nefarious Icereach Coven. There are new collectible rewards up for grabs, too.

You can use the free Quest Starter, titled “Prologue Quest: The Coven Conspiracy”, from the in-game Crown Store. Be sure to travel to the Fighter’s Guild in Daggerfall, Davon’s Watch, or Vulkhel Guard (depending on their Alliance) and speak with Lyris Titanborn to accept the first of two quests, titled “The Coven Conspiracy”.

This prologue quest coincides with the Free Play event running from April 1 until April 13. This means that anyone who downloads ESO during this time can play the Greymoor prologue for free.

This is open to anyone on PC/Mac through the ESO Launcher, Xbox One (Xbox Live Gold required), and PlayStation 4. You can download and play Base Game free. Do note that Steam’s Free Play Event will run from April 1-April 6.

Finally, the Anniversary Jubilee starts Thursday, April 2 and runs through April 14.
