In a report by MassivelyOP today, Razor Edge Games has clarified reports about the studio's recent funding of Eden Falling.
According to the report, a rep from the Arizona Commerce Authority reached out to MassivelyOP disputing the claims that the studio had received $1.3M to continue its development of its upcoming turn-based RPG, Eden Falling. The rep disputed claims that the "state organization had funded the studio and the game."
Michael Weiser from Razor Edge Games provided MassivelyOP with a statement clarifying the funding sources, stating that the press release initially sent out was "somewhat misleading." According to Weiser, the funding will bein the form of tax relief incentives, totaling $1.3M over five years and is based on the people the team hires to work in the studio. The statement continues stating that there are about 160 members of the team what work remote, though many of them are relocating to Gilbert, AZ where the studio is located.
