New Expansion Forthcoming: The Following

The Dying Light team has announced that an expansion to the game is forthcoming and that the team will be ready to show off a portion of it at Gamescom. Season Pass holders will receive the expansion for free or it is available as a separate purchase.


#DrinkForDLC Campaign Underway

The Dying Light team has announced a new campaign to get a free docket code that gives players an awesome in-game weapon. Called #DrinkForDLC, players are encouraged to post pictures of themselves drinking water in order to earn some of the new free DLC that the team is creating. Check out the incremental goals and the stretch goals. The first is already achieved with a 50% XP boost to player agility starting Sunday, June 28th.

The Dying Light team has posted on the game's Steam page that the long-awaited developer tools have been released. Players can now access the tools and start building their own game content.

Developer Tips & Tricks #1 - Multiplayer

Dying Light players will enjoy a new series of developer video diaries that will give tips and tricks for the best ways to play and enjoy the game. Hard Mode Incoming

The Dying Light team has some big plans for the coming months, not the least of which is the announcement that hard mode is incoming as a direct result of player feedback. Hard mode will be implemented in the first update and will feature night time play, bigger, harder, stronger monsters, an increased need for silence and stealth, and more that the team is keeping up their sleeve for the time being.


Night Hunter Evolved Trailer Features Special Code

Dying Light's "Be the Hunter" PvP mode is in the spotlight of a new trailer narrated by a member of the game's development team. As four "human" players take on a lone "zombie" player, the battle can seem overwhelming. The video gives the "Night Hunter" a few tips to help even the odds. In addition to seeing the 4v1 PvP match in action, players can also get a code for an in-game weapon that can be redeemed on the Dying Light site.
