Dungeons & Dragons Online’s Update 46 Preview 1 is available on the test server. Here’s what you need to know.
Update 45.1 for Dungeons & Dragons Online sees several enhancements for various classes.
Dungeons & Dragons Online's latest update has hit its preview server and is open for testing. The Standing Stone Games team has released the latest preview update on its Lamannia server for the public to break apart, as well as posted full patch notes for the upcoming Update 45 Patch.
It appears that mounts are arriving to Dungeons & Dragons Online, as was apparently confirmed in a live stream earlier.
The second Dungeons & Dragons Sharn raid is now on the Lamannia test server and devs are planning a special event to be held on July 10th from 5:00 pm Pacific / 8:00 pm Eastern. During the event, devs will be on hand to hear feedback about Project Nemesis, a level 32 Legendary Raid, and to answer questions that players may have about the current test content.
The Masterminds of Sharn expansion has now arrived in Dungeons & Dragons Online after today's update. Players will be exploring one of the most iconic cities in D&D lore, Sharn. The expansion brings players sixteen dungeons, a new raid and a public area as well as the underground wilderness location called The Cogs. Guest dungeon masters participated in creating the content including Keith Baker, Ruty Rutenberg and Kyle Vogt.
The next expansion to Dungeons & Dragons Online was set to be released on April 30th. However, a new note on the official DDO forums has announced that the Masterminds of Sharn expansion will be delayed until May 14th. The team felt that there were "several things we want to do yet, based in part on your feedback from Lamannia".
On April 11th, Dungeons & Dragons Online players will have new content to explore when the Masterminds of Sharn expansion launches. In addition to The Cogs wilderness area beneath the city, players will find 16 new dungeons, a new raid and a new public area. Players will have new treasures, monsters and secrets to discover.
On Tuesday, March 12th, Dungeons & Dragons Online players will have an opportunity to check out some of the content coming in the Masterminds of Sharm expansion later this year. From March 12th to March 14th, players can try out the new Tiefling race, the Tiefling Scoundrel, the Inquisitive universal enhancement tree and a number of bug fixes and feature enhancements.
If you've missed it, you'll definitely want to check out today's Dungeons & Dragons Online trailer that introduces the game's next expansion, Masterminds of Sharn. Players will finally get to play as Tieflings thanks to their addition to the game when Sharn launches later this year. Pre-orders for the expansion will begin in March.
On October 3rd, Dungeons & Dragons Online will receive the Cloaked in Darkness update that will bring cloak customization to all players later today. To kickstart the creative process, everyone will receive a free Ranger's Cloak from the in-game shop by using the GETCLOAKED code. Lastly, the Night Revels Festival is marking its return and it's time for players to "head into new spooky dungeons and defeat the infamous Spectral Dragon".
Dungeons & Dragons Online players with a pirate-y bent may want to check in to see the Euphoria's Challenge: Treasure of the Crystal Cove now that it has made its return to the game. To guide them along the way, the DDO site has a handy guide that helps players along the way through a series of quests and activities and about what types of items they can find and / or purchase including a stylish pirate chapeau.
The Dungeons & Dragons Online site has been updated with the news that the latest DLC package is now available either as part of the VIP plan or as a separate purchase. White Plume Mountain & Other Tales contains five new dungeons, "including the classic module White Plume Mountain" alongside four "all-new tales of mad Wizards and their works.
The latest Dungeons & Dragons Online producer's letter has been published on the game's official forums that teases out what players can expect throughout 2018. There are several things in the works starting with Update 38 and players joining up with healers from House Jorasco as plague sweeps through Stormreach. The update is expected to be released this spring.
