Novaquark, the team behind Dual Universe, has revealed a new in-game character model set to debut soon.
According to the accompanying press release, this new character model is a reimaging of the original character model. The team’s goal here is to update the look and feel of Dual Universe, and this character model is one step towards that goal.
The goal of this redesign was not only to create something functional and realistic for interstellar travel, but as well come up with something memorable, appealing, and instantly recognizable. The new update is more than just a new character model, however. Also included are new character animations, with the addition of emotes arriving in Beta.
