Mike Laidlaw is is leaving BioWare after fourteen years with the company. He had an instrumental part in the development of Jade Empire, Mass Effect and most notably in the Dragon Age series. He offers no explanation about where he's headed, though he says that he plans to "reconnect with all the amazing games and worlds that my peers have created". What this means for Dragon Age remains unknown though he expressed confidence that the world "we've created together is in good hands".
As with the announcement of Mass Effect media coming out next year, Dragon Age will also see a new comic series, Knight Errant, will be released in May 2017 with an adult coloring book coming in February 2017.

David Gaider, principal lead writer on the Dragon Age series and instrumental in the creation of one of the first openly gay characters in gaming, has announced his departure from Bioware after nearly two decades. Gaider started his career on the Baldur's Gate series, worked on Knights of the Old Republic all the way through the Dragon Age series.
Bioware and Dark Horse Comics have announced that the first issue in a new series of Dragon Age comics is now available for digital and physical purchase. Called Dragon Age: Magekiller, this latest series will tell a story of Tessa and Marius, mercenaries hunting those who use blood magic.
Bioware and EA have announced that a new Dragon Age: Inquisition Definitive Game of the Year Edition will be sold that will contain the base game along with all three DLC: Descent, Jaws of Hakkon and Trespasser. The price has yet to be revealed, nor is it present on the Dragon Age site but we will keep you posted.

EA Spain has posted a trailer for the next Dragon Age: Inquisition DLC that will be released on September 8th. Called "Trespasser", the content takes place two years after the main story, the Inquisitor is slowly being killed by the mark and the world is falling apart. Fans of Dragon Age: Inquisition can now get their hands on the second DLC for the game. Called "The Descent", the journey will take the Inquisitor and party to the Deeproads to investigate a series of seismic events and the return of the Darkspawn. The DLC runs $14.99 and is available for all platforms.

It is possible that a new DLC is being teased that could be announced during tomorrow's EA press conference from Gamescom.
Owners of PlayStation 3 and XBox consoles will want to take note of the new Dragon Age: Inquisition blog that announces that future DLC for the game will not be available for them. The post walks players through the process of saving games and profiles from these systems in the event players want to import the information to PC or one of the other supported consoles. It appears that a potential leak of information about a forthcoming DLC for Dragon Age: Inquisition has been leaked via a survey sent to game owners. The survey indicates that it is the "final fate" of the Inquisition, it is also said that "you will embark on the last adventure with your team" against the Qunari.

The latest free multiplayer update for Dragon Age: Inquisition has been released. The DLC, Dragonslayer, brings new maps, dragons to battle, and three new companions including Isabella from Dragon Age 2. In addition, the Black Emporium will enable players to purchase high end gear to become even more epic in the battle for the safety of Thedas.
