Larian Partners with Dark Eye Tabletop Vets for Divinity: Original Sin 2 GM Content

Larian Studios has partnered up with creators of the Dark Eye tabletop RPG to bring a new GM-led campaign to Divinity: Original Sin 2. The Prison of Shadow content is a unique campaign for a GM and three to five players. The action is centered an abandoned dwarven city where the party has been sent to find a "dangerous artifact" where they will face off against the "cultists of the Nameless God". The update is expected to launch on November 21st.

Mac players looking for an acclaimed cRPG to play won't have long to wait. Larian Studios has announced that Divinity: Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition is coming to Mac systems in Q1 2019. The port to Mac is being worked on in partnership with Elverils and the Apple Metal Engineering Team.


Heading to XBox Game Preview Starting July 19th

Bandai Namco has announced that Divinity: Original Sin 2 will be heading for XBox Game Preview starting July 19th. The XBox One version features native 4K and HDR support (optimizing the game for XBox One X) and comes with performance improvements, UI tweaks and bug fixes. In addition, players will also meet Sir Lora, the Squirrel Night, a new DLC character that comes with the pre-order of the Divinity: Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition.

Bandai Namco has announced that Larian's Divinity: Original Sin 2 finally has a console release date. XBox One and PlayStation 4 players can look for it on August 31, 2018. Like many of you who love cRPGs, when Larian Studios announced that it was making a sequel to Divinity: Original Sin, the heavens lit up. The KickStarter campaign funded almost immediately and hopes were set high for Divinity: Original Sin 2. I am here today to tell you that your hopes were not in vain and that it is everything we could have hoped for and so much more
