Diablo Immortal

Diablo Immortal is a mobile Massively Multiplayer Online Action RPG (MMOARPG) developed by Blizzard Entertainment in partnership with NetEase, coming exclusively to Android, iPhone and iPad.

The Worldstone lies shattered, yet great power remains within its corrupted fragments. Power that Diablo’s minions hope to harness to bring about the return of the Lord of Terror.

The Archangel Tyrael is presumed dead, and mankind is left to deal with the aftermath of his actions. Fragments of the corrupted Worldstone taint the land, bringing forth ancient evils who are looking to harvest the stone’s power and use it to control humanity.

  • An Untold Chapter of the Diablo Saga | The story of Diablo Immortal is set between the events of Diablo II: Lord of Destruction and Diablo III
  • Unique Zones & Dungeons | From the peaceful town of Wortham, to the jungle island of Bilefen and the ancient Library of Zoltun Kulle, each zone in Diablo Immortal has new challenges to master and familiar faces to see.
  • Massively Multiplayer Action in Your Pocket | Drop in or out of groups easily and engage in dynamic events all over the world, teaming up with other heroes as you take down Skarn’s minions—and reap powerful rewards.
  • Designed for Mobile | Diablo Immortal is being designed from the ground-up to give you an authentic Diablo experience on touch-screen devices. Intuitive actions, gestures and touch controls put you in full command of your hero.

It seems that the explosive community reaction to the announcement of Blizzard's mobile-only Diablo Immortal has gone viral and even entered the mainstream. It doesn't stop at just a picture either.

However, it was pulled at the last minute. The rumor comes by way of Kotaku that managed to get off-the-record information from the pair. Is Blizzard Out of Touch with Its Players?

Is Blizzard Out of Touch with Its Players? - Diablo Immortal News

To say that Diablo Immortal's announcement during BlizzCon kicked up a hellish storm of backlash is to understate the storm greatly. Many players feel that the mobile announcement without any other news for the beloved IP is showing that Blizzard is out of touch with its hardcore playerbase. To that end, we want to know what YOU think. We've set up a special poll that gives you a chance to vote your conscience and to leave us your thoughts on the subject.
