Today marks the launch of The Fury of the Tempest update for Trion Worlds and Bluehole Ginno's Action MMORPG, Devilian. Along with the brand new Tempest class, the level cap is boosted to 54, and the Devilian level cap is increased to 30, with tons of new content to explore.

Devilian will be updating on February 18th with the Fury of the Tempest content patch. As the name implies, the Tempest class will be coming on board, a rogue like dual-wielding character that uses surprise and acrobatics to slay enemies.

For the next two weeks, Devilian players will receive some devilishly good treats via in-game mail. What those log in rewards will be remains a mystery, but they are sure to bring hellacious good times to players.

Trion Worlds has announced that 20v20 guild battles will be entering Devilian with the mid-January update. Guilds will be able to challenge one another and each Sunday will feature top guilds duking it out for Archgemstones, the top four team each receiving a share.

Devilian is like popcorn, or more succinctly, caramel popcorn. It’s not a bad game, it just has such a singular flavor that eating too much of it will leave you feeling sick to your stomach. We’ve been playing it these past few weeks and are ready to pitch in our final review of Trion’s latest MMO.

Trion Worlds and Bluehole Ginno's Action MMORPG Devilian launches today, just mere months after its reveal at E3 2015. Our own Bill Murphy has been playing in the head start and kicks off his review in progress to mark the occasion.

For those ready for Devilian's head start and launch, it's nearly time to hit the ground running. Head Start for those who purchased a Founder's Pack begins on Tuesday, December 8th at 10:00 am Pacific / 1:00 pm Eastern. Devilian's launch day arrives on Thursday, December 10th at 12:00 pm Pacific / 3:00 pm Eastern.

Trion Worlds has announced the start of the open beta for Devilian on PC and via Steam. This is a true open beta experience and there will be a character wipe prior to the official launch... In addition, fans of Devilian will want to check out the game's official site and the video below to see the Evoker class. The Evoker is all about crowd control, assault and burst damage.

Trion Worlds has sent word about the forthcoming plans for Devilian. The open beta is now announced as ready to go on December 2nd beginning at 10:00 am Pacific followed by Early Access on December 8th and final retail launch on December 10th.
