The anime action MMORPG SoulWorker, now published by its developer Lion Games, is celebrating a successful launch of its global service on Steam.
On May 13, 2021, SoulWorker opened up for players worldwide, excluding Korea, China, and Japan. The game’s global availability in English or Traditional Chinese has caused a huge surge of new players, increasing the number of peak concurrent users by five times according to a SoulWorker insider. In fact, the game has been ranking great on trending charts in the United States, Canada and several countries in Europe since its first day.
SoulWorker is great for gamers who love anime and stylized art, belonging to a genre known as “ACG” (Animation and Comics Games). Charming characters and their background stories are important in SoulWorker, and the game has recently proved this with the release of Ephnel in last November, a wind spear user with a quiet persona.
Now, the game is preparing to release Lee Nabi, a member of the Starry Forest League. Lee Nabi specializes in the Sniper Rifle, making her the first long-distance shooter available to play. This introduces completely new ways to experience plots and battles in SoulWorker, even for long-term veterans.
As SoulWorker grows to its new global audience, an insider has said that employees will be working even harder to make the game enjoyable for all its users. With the developer, Lion Games, now servicing its own game, players can look forward to more direct implementation of feedback!
