A lot has changed in Albion Online since its release in 2017. For those who've been away from the game for a while, or haven't yet tried it out, we've put together this list of some things that have been happening in the game since launch. From new features that offer broader gameplay experiences to far-reaching upgrades and improvements, here's what you might have missed.
Since launch, Albion's servers have been upgraded and optimized to greatly improve game performance, particularly during large-scale fights with numerous enemies.
Join up with any of five Royal City factions, then seize enemy Outposts, go on dangerous transport missions, and earn faction points and standing to get exclusive capes, crafting resources, and mounts.
Now you can cast a line into Albion's rivers, lakes, and oceans to catch fish and other aquatic life. Fishing adds a whole new layer to gathering, crafting, and even combat, with new recipes that supplement cooldowns and combat skills. And if you're lucky enough, you might even hook yourself some valuable treasure!
A ROBUST PLAYER BASE
With approximately 30,000 active users every month playing on a single, giant server, the world of Albion is in a constant state of motion. With a wide range of group activities available, your next dungeon dive, outpost raid, or open-world battle is always close at hand.
CRYSTAL REALM BATTLES
Enter the Crystal Realm and battle it out in intense 5v5 matches for valuable rewards. Crystal Realm Battles give smaller and up-and-coming GvG teams the chance to compete, bringing new players into Albion's guild warfare scene.
Over the past year, we've introduced GvG seasons and the monthly Adventurer's Challenge. These offer exclusive rewards, from powerful mounts to unique clothing and furniture to Fame and Silver. Whether you're a casual solo player or a hardcore guildie, these seasonal challenges hold something for everyone.
These are just a few of the features introduced since launch. For an all-encompassing list, you can head on over to the Albion Online Update Page. To truly experience the new Albion Online, you'll have to try it for yourself - and from now until February 11, you can get all Starter Packs and Upgrades for 34% off in the Albion Online Shop.
