Destiny was updated earlier today with a significant patch that brings, among many other things, microtransactions into the game. Players will be able to meet Tess Everis to grab hold of some pretty cool emotes that are only available for a new in-game currency, Silver, that can be purchased through both the XBox Games Store or the Playstation Store.
Another interesting piece of the update will allow players to reroll exotic armor to alter stat boosts or perks and something called Twist Fate node that requires a Glass Needle from Xur .
As always, there are significant bug fixes and balance issues resolved, including a heavy reduction in shotgun range.
