Now that the breakup with Activision is complete, Bungie is looking ahead to "a new era" for Destiny 2. While there are literally no details about what that might mean, Bungie has promised to provide more details in the future. Right now, the focus is on Season of Opulence and the awarding of Raid belts, but plans are seemingly already in motion.
Season of Opulence begins will begin in less than two weeks with the plan to release the final patch notes on June 4th. During Opulence, players will head off on a Power Surge quest that, once complete, will allow access to the new Raid. The Crown of Sorrow raid will open on the first day of Opulence starting at 4:00 pm PST / 7:00 pm EST. Other changes will be made so features including the Eververse.
