Daybreak Games has sent word that DC Universe Online has been updated with the Starro the Conqueror event that brings a lot of new content and great rewards into the game. The event features the first villain from the Justice League.
Players can take part in an open world mission called Central City Starro Deluge. The task is to save the city's residents from Starro spores that have suddenly inundating the shores.
During a new Duo, pairs of players are looking for creatures to mind-control to stop the spread of spores.
In the latest 4-player Alert, the invasion continues "with a taste seemingly for Kryptonians, magic-users, and even the JSA".
Lastly, Starro: The Thread Below is the name of the new 8-player Raid that sends players to investigate the Atlantean Research Outpost for irregularities that may have led to the invasion.
Participants in the event of Level 10 and above can receive Starro-themed items and cosmetics.
