Bandai Namco has announced that Dark Souls II has invaded its collectible card game called Outcast Odyssey. Players can look forward to new gameplay elements, card content, and weekly featured events themed around Dark Souls II.
The week before E3 is always fraught with rumors and rumors of rumors. As this week begins, the news has come down the pike that Dark Souls III is on its way later this week. A series of screenshots was 'leaked' and The Know has put together a video to show them off.
Bandai-Namco has announced that Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin has been released in Europe, the Middle East, Australia and Asia. Scholar of the First Sin offers players more lore and challenges not seen in the game to now.
Bandai-Namco has announced that the Scholar of the First Sin remaster for Dark Souls II will be released in the EU on April 2nd, nearly a week earlier than anticipated. The first part of the deployment has been released in the form of a new patch that brings the Scholar NPC into the game as well as item descriptions, online matchmaking improvements and other gameplay tweaks.
For those who can't get enough Dark Souls II, the wait for more is coming to an end. On April 7th, Dark Souls II will be growing with Scholar of the First Sin for XBox One, PlayStation 3 / 4 and PC (via Steam). Bandai Namco accompanied the announcement with a brand new trailer called "Forlorn Hope". Check it out and then head to the Dark Souls II site to preorder your copy of Scholar of the First Sin.
Dark Souls II will be expanding on April 7th with the Scholar of the First Sin. The new content will launch on April 7, 2015 on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4, and PC via Steam. This release will also include the three previous DLC packages, Crown of the Sunken King, Crown of the Old Iron King, and Crown of the Ivory King as well as additional bonuses.
FromSoftware will be releasing a new DLC for Dark Souls II. The Crown of the Old Iron King is the second installment in a trilogy of DLC in the Lost Crowns Trilogy that offers players new environments, enemies, traps, and bosses. The third installment will be released next month.
Cross platform RPG, Dark Souls II, now has more content for players to explore and die in thanks to the release of the DLC called "Crown of the Sunken Shield". The DLC can be purchased via the PlayStation Network (available 7-23), Xbox Live Marketplace (available today), or on Steam (available 7-23). Crown of the Sunken Shield is the first in a trilogy of DLC called The Lost Crowns and that will be released monthly from now through September.
Namco Bandai has posted a brand new video to introduce Dark Souls II players to a forthcoming trilogy of content headed their way. Called "The Lost Crowns", the DLC will be delivered in three parts for all platforms. The first part, The Crown of the Sunken King", will arrive in July followed by The Crown of the Old Iron King in August and The Crown of the Ivory King in September. Dark Souls is arguably one of the most hard-core RPGs in history, and because of its success, its creator Hidetaka Miyazaki has been promoted to president of its developer, From Software. The company was recently purchased by publisher Kadokawa with an interest in developing games for Western markets.
