The Dark Age of Camelot site has been updated with the news that one of the game's most ambitious patches to date has launched and has been running smoothly for over a day now. This patch is notable for the sprucing up most classes have undergone. Not only that, the brand new warfare contribution system, siege system and crafting updates have also been released with this patch.

The Dark Age of Camelot team has published the first-ever monthly update for the game and it is packed with all sorts of interesting information and links to what has been going on in the last month, as well as a peek ahead at what players can expect to see coming in the near future.

Former Dark Age of Camelot players are being invited back for a special thirteenth anniversary event that will allow them thirteen days of free game time and a chance to participate in a special anniversary RvR event. Any account active prior to September 24, 2014 is eligible to return for the event.

Mythic and Broadsword Online Games, founded by Mythic Entertainment co-founder Rob Denton and a number of Mythic veterans, have formed a partnership to take over the development reins of Dark Age of Camelot. EA will continue to provide billing and account services via Origin, but the development of the game will rest in the hands of the aforementioned studios.

Dark Age of Camelot producer Stuart Zissu has written the March Producer's Letter with a preview of the v1.108 patch recently implemented. In addition, Zissu talks about a mysterious hooded man seen poisoning wells in the game. The tainted water seems to target half-ogres, trolls and firbolgs in particular.
