In case you missed it earlier, CD Projekt RED announced multiplayer for Cyberpunk 2077 in a brace of tweets.
However, multiplayer won’t arrive at launch with the team instead focusing on the single-player game first and foremost.

They followed up with:
2/2 The plan for now is to deliver Cyberpunk 2077 in April, then follow up with DLCs (free!) and single player content, and — once we’re done — invite you for some multiplayer action.
