The Crowfall site has been updated with a neat look at how the Ranger archetype will be equipped in the game. The post is filled with art assets including bows and armors that the Ranger will use as well as an early-stage video showing her most basic animations.
The strategy for the Rangers’ equipment lineup was to have it begin simply and organically, with elements that could feasibly be repurposed organic materials she’d foraged in the wilderness, not only wood but also bone and fur. It made sense that a ‘beginner’s bow’ would be the most simple and crudely made.
