We are pleased to announce that we will update Conquer 1.0 to 2.0 on Nov. 15, 2005.

In order to upgrade to 2.0 smoothly, we are releasing the 2.0 upgrade patch, i.e. Patch 4283 (32M in size) today for you to pre-download. You are recommended to download Patch 4283 using BitComet. If you do not have BitComet installed on your computer, you can download it at www.bitcomet.com and install it.

Please save Patch 4283 in your Conquer Online 1.0 folder and DO NOT run it before 00:01 am PST Nov. 15, 2005. Otherwise, you may run into serious problems playing CO 1.0 before Nov. 15 and you might have to re-install CO 1.0.

On 00:01 am PST of Nov. 15, 2005, we will bring down all CO1.0 servers for about 2 hours to perform the upgrade. During this period, you can run Patch 4283 and wait for the servers to come up. If you have not downloaded Patch 4283, your Conquer Client will be upgraded automatically using the autopatching feature, however, this might be very slow since the patch file is about 32M. Therefore, we strongly recommend you to pre-download Patch 4283 manually using BitComet.

After you install Patch 4283, you can rename the current Conquer Online 1.0 folder to Conquer Online 2.0. If you are currently playing on the current Conquer Online 2.0 test server and already have a Conquer Online 2.0 folder on your computer, you can rename it as Conquer Online 2.0 Test. This test server will remain separate from the other servers for now, and we might merge it with the other servers later. Also, we will open up the registration to this server very soon.

The new features of Conquer Online 2.0 include:

1. New Equipment.

a. For the low-level players, they can change weapons at level 1, level 5 and level 10. And Level 1 Coat and Dress will come in with 7 colors. b. For the high-level players, they have more choices after Level 120. They can upgrade weapons, necklaces, bracelets, rings, heavy rings, bags and boots twice after level 120. c. Blessed equipment. It can reduce the damage taken. The blessed equipment can be found as monster loots or awarded at rebirth. The market NPC (320,228) can help you upgrade the blessed attributes by costing Super Tortoise Gems. d. Enchanted equipment with bonus HP. The market NPC (320-224) can help you enchant the equipment by costing the gems. All equipment can be enchanted. The success chance and effects depend on the gems' quality and types.
