Starting next week, the XBox One retail pre-order price for Conan Exiles is going from $35 to $50. The price rise is mostly due to releasing a boxed XBox One version of the game in stores around the world. To keep pricing the same whether digital or retail (with its attendant increased visibility and marketing), the price is going up. However, you have a golden opportunity to pre-order the XBox One version $17.50 this week thanks to a 50% off sale Funcom is running.
In order to make sure everyone gets a fair chance to get into Game Preview before we increase the pricing, we wanted to let you know now. We’re also going to run a special 50% discount sale on Conan Exiles Xbox One Game Preview from Friday December 8th to Sunday December 10th, giving anyone still on the fence a chance to get in at a very low price. This discount will be 50% off the current price, so about $17.50 in US dollars. As always, anyone who purchases Game Preview access also receives the full digital game at launch.
PC players will not see a price increase. It will remain at $30. This is due to the PC version having less exposure via retail release.
