Funcom has announced partnership agreements with H2 Interactive and Chunsoft to bring Conan Exiles to several Asian nations on May 8th. Chunsoft will provide distribution services in Japan. H2 Interactive will distribute localized versions of Conan Exiles in digital and retail form in Korea, Thailand, Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong and Singapore.
The Conan Exiles site has been updated with a post that lays out the team's focus in the coming days as the final stretch to release has arrived. The most pressing concerns that are being addressed are focused mainly on stability, performance and optimization of the final build. Devs will be on hand on various social media and on the official forums to collate all incoming issues players have discovered in order to find and prioritize any new bugs that have come up.
Conan Exiles has been patched on PC to bring Update 33 on board and is it ever a doozy of a patch. Players can look forward to a number of new features including fast travel, farming and the Purge systems. In addition, combat has been retooled to bring a number of changes including heavy and light attacks, chain attacks, kicks and much more.
The Conan Exiles TestLive server has been updated with a new patch to bring the Purge mechanic on board. Essentially, "the more you and / or your clan builds, kill other players / NPCs, and plays, the more this meter will fill". Once the meter is filled, the Purge will kick in on a percent chance basis. If you are a solo player, Purge will target your holdings. If you are on a server with a fourth of the clans at the filled meter threshold, you have a 25% chance to get hit if you're a member.

Most excitingly for fans, the game is nearing release and there are only three more weeks until "content lock" for all of the data that will be in the Gold Build and in the Day 1 patch.

In addition, the first part of the weather system is now live that brings dynamic weather into play. This includes increasing / decreasing fog levels, thunderstorms, rain, snow, varying wind speeds and more.
Funcom has announced that Conan Exiles will officially leave Early Access and enter into retail release on May 8, 2018. The game is currently in Steam Early Access on PC and on the XBox One Game Preview. The PlayStation 4 version will be arriving next year. Pricing for PC is $40 and for PS4 / XB1 $50. Each game purchased ahead of launch will see players rewarded with Conan's Royal Armor in game.
Starting next week, the XBox One retail pre-order price for Conan Exiles is going from $35 to $50. The price rise is mostly due to releasing a boxed XBox One version of the game in stores around the world. To keep pricing the same whether digital or retail (with its attendant increased visibility and marketing), the price is going up.
