The Conan Exiles forum has a new post with a mysterious underwater screenshot that seems to foreshadow upcoming content that will include deep dives into the briny deep. According to the post, the new content will be heading to TestLive "sooner than you might expect". It will include new mechanics and content that devs are hoping to get player feedback on prior to releasing it to live servers.

From today through March 10th, anyone can try Conan Exiles for PC via Steam thanks to the arrival of a free play weekend. To celebrate, Funcom has released a 2019 trailer for Conan Exiles and is offering a sweet 50% Steam discount should gamers wish to purchase it. The game has gone through a bevy of updates and changes since first launching into early access in 2017.

The Conan Exiles site has been updated with the news that the latest update has been deployed into the game. It brings a huge number of bug fixes, feature enhancements and quality of life improvements. In addition, a balance pass has been applied to the game's NPCs and for the crafting system and a new VOIP system has been brought on board. Players will also find a new world boss, additions to the Purge System and much more.

From March 7th to March 11th, anyone can try out Conan Exiles when it becomes part of Steam Free Weekend. "We're working hard to roll out more patches and fixes before the free weekend kicks off," the Facebook notice reads.

The Conan Exiles forum has a brief post to let players know that a new voice chat will soon be added to Testlive for players to try out. The goal is for a more stable client with improved quality and to include stereo sound. The new VOIP will be using Vivox rather than the current peer-to-peer client.

With 2018 rapidly coming to a close, the Conan Exiles team is taking a look back at the year that was before looking ahead to 2019. The latest community update takes a victory lap look at all of the content additions and improvements to the game throughout the year and proudly proclaims that "around 30 patches and hotfixes for the PC version of Conan Exiles" have been released since January.

Conan Exiles players can now check out and purchase the Seekers of the Dawn DLC pack that brings a distinctly Far Eastern aesthetic into the game. The pack includes 39 new building pieces, 15 new armor pieces, 5 new pet skins, 12 new weapons and 5 new warpaints. The katana is one of the new weapons and one that is available to all players irrespective of whether or not the DLC package is owned.

The latest update for Conan exiles will be deployed today and is one that brings a long list of bug fixes into the game as well as "a few new, exciting mechanics and improvements". Players will find the new Katana weapon archetype to try out as well as a number of bow improvements, arrow balance and tweaks, throwing weapon improvements and better jumping animations.

The Conan Exiles site has been updated with the latest community newsletter to provide players with the most up-to-date information about the game. In this week's edition, developers have announced that a new, separate client for TestLive has been released on Steam. It is a standalone version of the game designed specifically for testing purposes. In the latest build, several weapon changes have been added along with QoL improvements and the Katana has been added.

The latest community newsletter has been published on the Conan Exiles site. In it, fans are treated to a video recap of a recent live stream that centered on dungeon design. In addition, readers can learn more about "specialist arrows and their intended use" that covers fire, explosive, light, snake, and blunted arrows with their attendant cost, weight and realism factors. Lastly, things are about to get spooky as a Halloween event is just around the corner.

From October 18th through October 24th, Conan Exiles will be free to play on XBox One. Players will get to enjoy the full game including last week's Pets Update, the Jhebbal Sag Religion and the Midnight Grove dungeon. "Conan Exiles has more content than ever before. It's the perfect time to jump in if you're considering trying out the Hyborian survival experience."

Conan Exiles fans who want to rock a more "outdoorsy" look may want to check out the Savage Frontier Pack that is now live for PC. The PlayStation 4 and XBox One version of the same DLC will be available on October 17th. The pack contains a number of items including 15 armor pieces in three types, Pictish weapons, new pet skins, new Pictish warpaints and over three dozen Frontier building pieces.

The latest Conan Exiles community newsletter has arrived, this time packed with information about the game's animations. It takes a deep dive into how motion-capture works and brings the game to life with realistic body movement.

Funcom has announced that it has released the Jewel of the West DLC for Conan Exiles. The new content is available for PlayStation 4, PC and XBox One and it brings "new Aquilonia-themed building pieces, armors, weapons and decorations" -- all new toys for aspiring builders and crafters.
