It's all about friends during this fabulous February! The annual Friendship Festival celebration will return to Wizard101 very shortly. As always, Valentina HeartSong will come out of hiding to share her unique loot with all the friendly wizards in the Shopping District. I don't know about you, but I've made a ton of friends throughout my Wizard101 journey. Many of them I feel will be friends for life. Although February isn't an exclusive time to tell your friends how much you appreciate them, it's certainly an ideal one.
While the Friendship Festival is upon us, consider giving back to the friends who have went above and beyond to assist you and put a smile on your face. Better yet, why not give back to the community as a whole and possibly make some new friends? Not sure how? Here are a few ideas:
Jump in team-up. Finished with the storyline and not sure what to do? Perhaps you can lend a hand in team-up and help players who are still stuck.

It's farming time! Know someone who is after a specific item? Consider assisting them to make the farming process quicker and smoother.
What's mine is yours. Everyone wants to make a perfect pet nowadays. If you've gotten lucky and happen to have a killer companion, think about sharing it so others can also get in on the happiness.
Throw a party/event. Nothing gets friends together like a good party! Throw together a tag/scavenger hunt event or even a PvP tournament to create some friendly competition.
Surprise! Want to really make someone's day? Randomly gift a friend a few packs for no reason and prepare for the freak-out. If you're feeling extremely generous, stand around in a commons area and gift complete strangers. Sometimes kindness can go a long way.

To all of my friends - thanks for being awesome! Even though I love Wizard101 to pieces, a big reason I'm still around today is because of all of you. Chatting with you all, teaming up with you all ... it can truly be the highlight of my day sometimes. When IRL decides to cast a brick wall, it's always nice to come back to a supportive virtual family.
Looking beyond February, Wizard101 players can be excited for a hinted spring update. Tom Purdue and Leah Ruben have already revealed some interesting school pets on KI Live that have yet to debut. It sounds like they will be available to high level wizards who have quested Mirage. I can't wait to see what the myth one will look like! In the meantime, what else do you think the spring update will hold?
