Wolfhunter is upon us, and I am excited about all that it brings to the game. Two new dungeons are available to run, Moonhunter Keep and March of Sacrifices. As always, these dungeons bring new gear for us to obtain. A new battleground is available to play as well, the past couple of weeks I have been really getting back into PvP and battlegrounds has expedited that addiction.
A massive overhaul of the Werewolf skill line has happened as well. I'm glad this is happening and hope down the line, the vampire skill line will be overhauled as well. Werewolves are fun to play, but I think the changes will encourage people to try them again and fiddle around with all the changes. I am hoping to see more werewolves out in Tamriel now, especially in PvP. I've heard the sustain now is pretty great, and I can't wait to try it myself. I'm always down to try new things, especially when they are overhauled.
As always, Wolfhunter DLC is included with an ESO plus membership or you can purchase it separately via the Crown Store. Speaking of ESO plus, they announced some pretty cool changes. The upcoming changes are more Crowns per month, bumping it from 1500 to 1650. The other changes coming down the road will be a monthly reward. I don't know what it will entail but I'm excited nonetheless. Let's hope it'll be a good one.
All in all, with Wolfhunter being released and Murkmire coming soon, Elder Scrolls Online is looking pretty good for the near future. What do you all think about the ESO plus changes? Will it make you subscribe or do they need to do more to make it worth it for you?
I already found the plus membership well worth it, and I will continue to subscribe to the game, but I do know a lot of people who feel that the membership is not worth the price. I feel that when you factor everything that it gives you, it is a pretty good value. I do think they need to reevaluate the prices on some of the older content in the crown store but that's just me.
For those of you who do play, what do you think of Wolfhunter? Are you happy overall with what it brings to the table? If not, what else would you have wanted? I think I am more excited for Murkmire than anything. Despite all the awesome changes that Wolfhunter brought, Murkmire is more up my alley in terms of content and lore.
Alright, enough about the news. I wanted to talk to you all about something that has been on my mind lately. I was talking to some of my guildmates about combat and diversity in Elder Scrolls Online. I feel diversity lately has gone out the window. I see the same builds, the same weapons being used and I feel like we've lost our build diversity.
It's really sad to say this, I mean I have kept the same build, and the same rotation in PvE and PvP for a couple of months now, and even though I am okay with that, it's getting a little dull.
I'm hoping down the line they will be doing a base patch with a DLC that will be doing some number crunching or revamping or skill/weapon lines. I would be down with some class revamping as well.
I know a lot of people will cry about the changes but I think it's time to really think about changing things up. As sad as it is to say, I'm getting tired of the same old thing. What do you think? Do you think they should do some number crunching and some class changes? I’m not saying each class or each weapon line needs some sort of massive overhaul, but I do think that some things need to be changed and if they do change, hopefully, it comes sooner rather than later, you know?
I know a lot of people would be really happy if they did a combat/animation overhaul but I think we are too far along for that to happen. I’ve overall happy with how the combat is and the animations really don’t bother me unless they really “bug” out. I would be more happy with a class/skill overhaul than anything. The same old cycle is become old like I said and even though I know I could respec my character and get the gear and everything, I don’t know how much better it would be. Sure, it would be something new, but would it be better? I do not think so at this point.
What do you all think who play or who have played, would you be okay with a skill/class overhaul or would you rather have the combat and animations reworked? Let me know in the comments below.
