The Witcher 3’s Blood and Wine Expansion was the most fitting possible end for the story of Geralt we could possibly hope for. It also was so extensive that any other game would have considered it a standalone release. The CD Projekt Red team has become the premier open world RPG developer in the industry, and they deserve every bit of success that’s come their way. We want more Witcher, but we’ll be very happy to see where Cyberpunk 2077 takes us too.

World of Warcraft: Legion is a return to form for Blizzard’s 12 year old behemoth MMORPG. Sporting an excellent story, fantastic class redesigns, wondrous questing, great new features, and loads of progression at the end game (though that part can be a grind as ever), it’s no wonder the expansion reportedly brought WoW back over 10 million subscribers after a tremendous drop off from Warlords of Draenor. The future looks bright for the expansion too, as there seems to be a steady flow of new content coming for the foreseeable future. Let’s hope they keep it going.
