Welcome back Space Ninjaz to another thrilling installment of Kinda, Sorta a Space Ninja. We'll be taking a break from the scheduled column about best places to grind for dat phat loot and instead focus on the recent update that just hit Warframe. Shrine of the Eidolon beings not only new content to the game but also some changes and rebalancing to several Frames, weapons and powers. Oh, and there may be a time limited event going on for some spiffy Valentine's Day stuff in Heart of the Ordis. Let's dive in shall we?
Let's start with all the new goodies that Shrine of Eidolon brings.
The planes have always been a dangerous place at night due to the Eidolons (Giant titan monsters that roam at will). Where before only Teralyst was around, now two more ( Gantulyst and Hydrolyst) can be summoned from their slumber to bring death to the planes. Should you dare to summon these monsters, you have a chance at receiving Riven Transmuters. These consumables can transform four Riven mods into a brand-new Mod. Combining four of the same type will result in a Mod of that type specifically.
What was once just your enemy's flyer, can now be yours. The Dargyn can now be hijacked and used to explore the Plains faster than before in your bid to hunt down the new Eidolons.

But what has changed?
With this update, Digital Extremes brings a rebalancing to several of their Frames and weapons. This rebalancing overall feels good and may breathe life into Frames that didn't get a lot of play time before and new weapon combos.
Weapons, Mastery Ranks and Stats
Of special note projectile based and low fire rate weapons were given more crit and status allowance when appropriate. Free weapons like the Dex series have been given Mastery Rank values to match their stats. If you're a player who doesn't meet the new MR requirements for their favourite piece of equipment, don't fret! If you already own the weapon, you will be able to use it regardless of the higher MR requirement. These MR tweaks will only affect Tenno who newly acquire the weapons listed after these changes make it in-game.
Focus Passives now apply immediately upon loading into a mission, rather than requiring the brief Operator transition. When interacting with nullifiers, power-created avatars (Atlas’ Rumblers, Nekros’ Shadows, etc) will have their health drained, instead of instantly disappearing.
Added a completely new flow for Companion Incubator Management. Pets can no longer die! The base Incubator now behaves exactly as the Nutrio Incubator does with auto-stasis, and those with the Nutrio Incubator receive a significant discount on future DNA Stabilizer costs (from 75,000 to 5,000)!
