Each week, we scour the internet for all things indie MMO-related, so you don’t have to. This week was a pretty light news week. Still, top stories include region restrictions hindering Ember Sword badge redemptions, BitCraft talks Empires, And Book of Travels revamps combat. Plenty of other stuff is also going on, so let’s quit wasting time and get started with this week’s Indie MMO Spotlight.

BitCraft

What do empires mean for players, and how do they tie into the financial success of BitCraft? Empires are being introduced in the next test, and a new blog post explains how the Empire system works.

Book of Travels

Book of Travels has been updated to version 0.51.3. With the update, combat has been overhauled, including the addition of some player requests.

Dual Universe

A new hint for the Hunt for the Golden Goober dropped this week.

Elethor

The patch for v38e dropped this week. This is the second part of the Beyond patch and includes the Incursion rework.

Ember Sword

The $EMBER token launched on Thursday. Many badge holders have gone to redeem their badge for tokens only to find that redemption is currently restricted in their region.Grabbing some popcorn and watching the show.

Eternal Tombs

A teaser trailer for Testing Round #2 was posted this week. The trailer didn’t have a date for the test, but you can sign up on the Eternal Tombs site.

Eterspire

The release of update 30.0 was delayed until Tuesday, June 17th in order to provide a more polished product.The team also noted that launching on a Tuesday instead of a Thursday (the original update day) would mean all employees would be available for any troubleshooting.

Foxhole

ABLE War 114 will start today, Sunday, June 16th. Winners of the Fan Art Contest were announced this week, and an updated Roadmap was also posted.

Monsters & Memories

A stress test was held on Thursday. If you had a chance to join in, please let us know in the comments what you thought of the test.

Once Human

Once Human has a demo available on the Steam Next Fest. Next Fest ends on Monday morning, but you still have a few hours to check it out if you are reading this on Sunday.

Open Perpetuum Project

Patch 32 is currently being tested. You can check out the patch notes on the OPP Discord.

Palia

To celebrate the addition of insect plushies with Patch .180, players can participate in the Insect-A-Palooza community challenge. Running through June 20th, players will earn special loot if they can help Auni catch 25 million insects during the event. 

Project Gorgon

Project Gorgon received a permanent price drop and is now just $20 on Steam. With the new price comes the limitation of only one character slot. For anyone who wants more characters, there is also a new Character Slot Pack ($20) that adds an additional four slots. Players who previously purchased Project Gorgon will still have all of their slots available.

Prosperous Universe

According to Development Log #438, Michi spent this week working on bug fixes.

Ravendawn

In this week’s Teaser Tuesday post, we learn about strongholds, forts, and warforging.
