Each week, we scour the internet for all things indie MMO-related, so you don’t have to. This week, Anvil Empires (image above) tests out modular housing, Corepunk is ready to begin community testing while Nightingale adds more testers, and Dragon and Home celebrates its two-year anniversary. Plenty of other stuff is also going on, so let’s quit wasting time and get started with this week’s Indie MMO Spotlight.

Adventure Land

In a recent Discord post, it was revealed that Adventure Land would become open source, possibly within a couple of months.

Anvil Empires

Anvil Empires’ next Pre-Alpha test is still set for Tuesday at 1PM ET. The test is focused on settlement building, but PvP will still be enabled throughout the session. Modular housing is a new feature being added for the upcoming test.

BitCraft

It’s time for a little bit of BitCraft hide-and-seek in this week’s Twitter vignette.

Coreborn: Nations of the Ultracore

Corepunk

Corepunk developer Artificial Core made a rare blog post to announce that they would begin closed testing in September. Testing will begin with a small group of community members, with more people being added over time. In advance of the test, another post gave an update on the progress the team has made over the last few months.

Dragon and Home

Dragon and Home is celebrating its two-year anniversary with a new event. Mirage Online Classic

The new endgame dungeon, Catacombs, was added this week. According to a Discord post, the dungeon difficulty is rated as “Really fricking hard.”
