This week, Corepunk outlines Early Access updates, Eternal Tombs gives thanks, and Fractured Online goes free-to-play. Plenty of other stuff is also going on, so let’s quit wasting time and get started with this week’s Indie MMO Spotlight.
BitCraft
Closed Alpha 3 opened up to players lucky enough to have a code this week. You can view the launch stream below.
Broken Ranks
Patch 7.44 went live on Thursday. The patch included loot system updates and a class balance pass.
Corepunk
With Early Access almost here, Corepunk posted a development update this week. The team has been working on several features that will be included at or shortly after Early Access launch, including a shared account bank, a Skin system, and additional rewards for level 20+.
Dreamworld
The option to join Dreamworld’s playtest will disappear from the Steam page on December 3rd. Anyone who joins before then will still be able to play, but anyone else will have to wait until the 2025 release of Dreamworld to join.
Eternal Tombs
Eternal Tombs posted an End of Year Newsletter this week. After thanking everyone for a year full of testing, future plans were discussed.
Ethyrial: Echoes of Yore
A new update has added Relics to Ethyrial. The update also includes many other updates, including a combat skill rework and a new currency called Primordium.
Foxhole
Foxhole’s Infantry Update is now live. The update brings combat overhauls, new mechanics, and some new weapons.
Fractured Online
Fractured Online went free-to-play this week. The change to F2P also marked the beginning of Season 1.
Life is Feudal: MMO
Although we haven’t received any updates about LiF: MMO recently, LTG did announce they are developing a free-to-play spin-off, Life is Feudal: Arden.
Nightingale
Nightingale’s new update is here. The big feature is the addition of Boss Rush mode.
Once Human
Once Human has been updated to version 1.3.2. The update features version 2.0 of the Scenario Sign-up, event updates, and new shop arrivals.
Palia
Patch 0.186: Season of Splendor went live this week. The patch includes the conclusion to the Prologue, the return of Winterlights, and new Premium Store arrivals.
Prosperous Universe
Development Log #460 covers contracts formed by an upgrade motion.
Realm of the Mad God
RotMG’s Thanksgiving Event is live now through December 2nd. The event has two Dungeon events that include a chance to get the George the Turkey Pet Skin. Additional Realm Events will also give a chance to earn George and the Giving Pixie Pet Skin.
Villagers & Heroes
Patch 5.36: Grinchta’s Lair is now live. The event gives you a chance to get a new mount, homestead items, and much more.
