Each week, we scour the internet for all things indie MMO-related, so you don’t have to. This week, Ember Sword talks economy, Corepunk has a horrible Alpha Test, and Zenith: Nexus readies Season 3. Plenty of other stuff is also going on, so let’s quit wasting time and get started with this week’s Indie MMO Spotlight.

Anvil Empires

In Devblog 13, we get introduced to the tavern, central marketplace, and additional town changes that were included in this week’s Minor Test.

BitCraft

A quick tweet showcased the waterfalls in BitCraft, which do look pretty nice considering the simplistic art style of the game. The cinematic video below shows even more of the world.

Coreborn: Nations of the Ultracore

The Blankhaus weekly stream gives an update about the previously mentioned building contest and a small glimpse of Liquid Meadows.

Corepunk

Players not receiving their Alpha keys, critical bugs that caused delays and multiple server restarts, an extension to the end date to compensate for all of the downtime, and then the decision to end the test early and reschedule for a later date were all we got from the Corepunk Alpha 2 test. You know, the typical kind of thing you can expect from an early alpha test. You can check out the devs thoughts on how things went in their most recent blog post.

Cyborg Immortal

A new playtest for Android users started on Thursday. Players can expect a new region, new minibosses, and improved early game progression.

Ember Sword

It’s token time! You can get a full breakdown of Ember Sword’s economy model in the developer’s latest blogpost.

Eternal Tombs

Two new patches hit Steam this week. Patch 3.1.4 set up alternate shop currencies and had multiple bugfixes, while Patch 3.1.5 made improvements to login and character creation.

Foxhole

The winners of the 3rd Foxhole Fan Art Contest have been announced.

Ilysia

A new Discord post covers all of the features coming to the PTR (Public Test Realm).

Monsters & Memories

If you missed yesterday’s (Saturday, June 1st) stress test, don’t fret. There will be a Weekend Playtest on June 28th.

Palia

Patch 0.180 went live this week and includes the Grand Harvest House, Building Blocks, and much more.

Prosperous Universe

Check out Development Log #436 to find out about Michi’s attempt to tidy things up after working on the POL command implementation last week.

Ravendawn

Teaser Tuesday was all about new boss fights coming with the Aether Echoes update, while Patch 1.0.6.6 dropped this week, bringing with it a plethora of updates.

Realm of the Mad God

Episode 8 of the Deca Debrief was posted this week. The video blog covers the team’s thoughts on the Real Rework release.

Ship of Heroes

Ship of Heroes just posted its Spring Dev Update. The update includes info about a new raid UI, animation polish, and much more.

Tatsumeeko

The Tatsumeeko monthly patch blog was posted this week. Patch 0.91 adds the new Carnival Theme.

Wild Terra 2: New Lands

Wild Terra 2 is currently 75% off on Steam. If the $9.99 price is still too high for you to risk the purchase, you can always try out the New Lands demo to see just how the game plays before you buy.

Wurm Online

The upcoming client upgrade is now on the public test server.

Zenith: Nexus

Infinite Realms Season 3 will start on June 4th. Players can expect several new island runs, a new boss, and new cosmetics in the new season.
