Each week, we scour the internet for all things indie MMO-related, so you don’t have to. This week, 2025 Roadmaps started rolling out, Valentine’s Day events reward players, and Eternal Tombs gets a big update. Plenty of other stuff is also going on, so let’s quit wasting time and get started with this week’s Indie MMO Spotlight.

Anvil Empires

Anvil Empires’ latest Pre-Alpha test started on Friday. The test will remain open until the win condition is satisfied or at least one week has passed.

Broken Ranks

Broken Ranks is holding a Valentine’s Day Party! The party started on Friday (Valentine’s Day) and runs through Friday, February 21st.

Corepunk

The community receive a new dev update on Monday. The post included information on Prison Island, the Defender Hero, King’s Battleground, and T3 items.

Dual Universe

If you love talent points, you will want to log into Dual Universe. To celebrate Valentine’s Day, players will receive double Talent Points through February 20th.

Eternal Tombs

Eternal Tombs’ February Update was posted this week. The post covers in-game maps and includes a video that dives into Goblin lore.

Ethyrial: Echoes of Yore

A new Discord post lists recent updates to Ethyrial. The list includes The Deadlands, a new elite area. The list alsom mentions T5 cooking recipes, the new Scholar path, and much more.

Loftia

Loftians can check out the MMO’s latest Devlog (#11) on Loftia’s Kickstarter page. The update includes a new district, the Hanging Gardens,  and much more.

Palia

The Kilima Couture Patch (v 0.189) will go live on February 18th. 

Prosperous Universe

Development Log #470 covers a new feature that will allow players to gift PRO license time to other players.

The Quinfall

Patch 09.02.2025 has been released. The patch includes the addition of Easy Anti-Cheat and an automatic installer that resolves anit-cheat installation errors, Global Chat, and various balance changes. The developers also released its 2025 Roadmap, giving us their vision for Early Access.

Ravendawn

It was a big week for Ravendawn fans. Not only did Update 2.1.0 go live on Friday, but the team also released the 2025 Roadmap.

Realm of the Mad God

Update 5.7.0.0 is out, adding a Valentine’s Event to RotMG.

Villagers & Heroes

Patch 5.41 went live this week. The patch includes several improvements and bugfixes for the MMO.
